Thanks

I will admit I have been in a major funk for about a month. I'm not sure why this is. I have had some crappy things happen to some people close to me, but in general, I have it pretty good. Then, Wednesday night something amazing happened. My friend Michelle called and told me they had just adopted a baby. I won't go into the great story of it all because that is her story to tell. All I will say is that when she told me her story, her voice was the voice of the happiest person I have heard in a long time. She was just overflowing with joy. That night I realized that maybe I need to try to keep closer to happy people and remember that I am happy too. I feel for the people in my life that are unhappy right now but I have to stop feeling for them all the time. Anyway, Thanks to Michelle and baby Dex. Hopefully I will be a lot more fun to live with.
